Happy Halloweens!!

Hi Everyone,

Happy Halloweeeeeens!!!
It's my very FIRST Halloweens with my person, and it is fun, fun, fun so far.

First of all, I get to wear this silly outfit everywhere. I'm a skinny skeleton this year. What I DO like about it is that it glows in the dark.... oooooh. It's kewl like that.

Well, my neck is too long to wear the hood comfortably, so here it is for just a moment.

We also gots one of these big orange things. Methinks they're called "punkins" or something like that. Me likes to chews on the stem... yum.

Mmmmm..... soooo goood. 

Tomorrow, I am going Trick-or-Treating with my basset hound pals. We are going to the Dog Park in our costumes & everyone is bringing a bag of treats, so we can Trick-or-Treat them into giving us some treats to take home : ) Yum.

So far, I'd say Halloweens is quite yummy.

What is everyone else doing for Halloweeeeens this year? I'd like to know.

Swimming Lessons

Hi Friends,

Over the past couple months, I have been having regular swimming lessons. Now if you know me, water isn't my favorite thing in the world. But my person says it's important to know how to swim, especially because Grand-Maw & Grand-Paw have a swimmin' hole at their house.

So, my person slaps a life jacket on me & me goes. Yikes! sometimes, it's a little scary for me. Here are some pictures from Lake Tahoe, where I went swimming twice. We went last month, and the water was pretty cool but very clear. The little waves scare me a little, even though ocean waves are a lot worse. Hound dog friends, do you like to swimmm???

I never swam so far by myself before-- I can't  believe my person let me go!

But then i hit land & could stand up on my feets again. 

Wet dog & glad to be seeing dry land again. 

Blog Review #1: Basset Hound Hank

Every now & then, you will see a Blog Review from me. I'll especially be doing this to show you my pals' blogs or other interesting blogs I come across.

That's because several people have been asking about him. You see, he's the one that did my drawing for me. My drawing is in the last 2 posts before this one, if ya haven't seen it yet.

Melikes his blog because his Ma puts up a lot of artwork she has done or is working on. It is fun for me to see the process! Also, he's named after Mr. Hank Williams, the singer, and there are pictures of him all over the background. Plus, there are adorable pictures of Mr. Hank on the site.

Recently, he's been out in his Halloween costumes: he's wearing 3 of them. Devil, Batman, & Skeleton. Funny thing is that I tried on 2 of those costumes just last week. He is soooo cute.

I Gots My Drawing!!

Hi Everyone!!

Guess what?? My drawing came in the mail over the weekend... I was sooo excited. We held our breaths, opened it carefully... and took a look at Mr. Hank's Ma's drawing.

Wow.

We had shivers & wanted to cry, Annie O., like ya said. Looks so real & so much like me. We love it. We don't even want to breathe on it. Hmmm... we gotta go frame it.
